Crystal’s Weblog

Hi, I’m Crystal. 

I have dabbled a bit at blogs here and there.  I have written some of my own, and I often enjoy reading and responding to others.  Now, I find myself here on WordPress.  I started this blog page as an outlet for more writing.  Perhaps?  I have always loved to write, but I don’t do it enough these days.  I will probably pop in every now and then with “deep thoughts”.  I guess we will just see where this goes.   

I am a little bit in my own world at times, but I try to stay on the right track.  It is difficut, yes, with life as it is.  But, so far so good.  I am very independent . . . to a fault, some do say.  But, I am trying to dance just as fast as I can to keep it all going upward!

The most important thing about me, I would say, is that my Mama is my rock!  

That’s her in the picture up there!  Yes, I simply adore my Mama Pat, and I see more of her in me each and every day!  Ummmmm, I must admit that is scary as all get out, but it is still OK with me!  She has made me who I am, for the most part . . . for better or for worse . . . and, I am extremely thankful that I have such a true and honest relationship with her.  She has been married to my Daddy, Stan, for more than 40 years . . . and, that blows my mind.  OK, so I guess you have to know Daddy to understand what I mean.  But, I am thankful that I have such wonderful parents that love me so much.  Unconditionally.   

I have a great support system of family and friends who have been there for me and challenge me and hold me accountable to my actions.  I am extremely blessed more than one can imagine.  I only hope that some of my writings in this blog will be a reflection of who I am, who surrounds me, and who I want to be . . . in a good way.
